The vision of one man has led to an expanding and commercial winery right in the heart of Dealu Mare.
When Count Guy de Poix established SERVE in 1994 he was already familiar with the art of wine making, as Guy produces one of the finest wines in Corsica – Domaine Peraldi. Now, surrounded by an enthusiastic team, Romania is proving a sound choice for creating quality wines for SERVE.
SERVE (The European-Romanian Society for Exquisite Wines) began building the winery in 1995. Major investment in 2003 - 2007 brought new machinery and an on-site nursery, demonstrating SERVE’s commitment to investing in the region.
SERVE operates vineyards in the Dealu Mare and Dobrogea, close to the Black Sea coast (near Constanta), sourcing the best fruit from both regions.

SERVE’s premium white wine - made using Sauvignon Blanc and Rhin Riesling, was fermented and matured over six months in new oak barrels. An incredibly rich wine with a nose of flowers, citrus fruits, and fresh baked bread; lots of toasty vanilla oak and luscious honeycomb flavours on the palate. Try it with fish, asparagus or foie gras.
