Serve scooped a Gold medal at the IWC Vienna for its Cuvee Charlotte 2008 and a Silver for its Terra Romana Cuvee Amaury 2010

Recas is celebrating new distribution through the UK on-trade for a number of its wines, including domestic varietal Feteasca Neagra. Recas has secured the listings through premium on-trade specialist Top Selection. It’s fantastic that the UK market is now embracing Romania’s local grapes!

Thanks to the Boutique Wineries Tasting team for putting on such a great show yesterday.  The Romanian Winegrowers received some excellent feedback from the trade about the quality of their range and hopefully it will result in a few new customers for our producers!

Stirbey started harvesting in Dragasani on 31st August and  conditions couldn’t have been better! The first batch of grapes were handpicked Sauvignon Blanc from the Moraru vineyard, which went into the cellar healthy and fresh, promising an excellent 2011 vintage of the limited edition “Vitis Vetus”!  

Congratulations to Stirbey, whose Cramposie was listed for the first time at the Societé des Alcool du Quebec (SAQ) in Canada.
